New Book
about Lesvos island.
Dutch residents of
Molivos Julie Smit and Jan van
Lent recently celebrated the
publication of their book
"Scatterlight Donkeys and
Foxballs Icecream: Photos and
Stories from the Greek Island of
Lesvos". The book includes
selections from Julie Smit’s
blog (smitaki.blogspot.com) about
living on a Greek island,
combined with photographs by Jan
van Lent. Julie and Jan moved to
Lesbos in 2003 and have grown to
love the island, its beauty, its
flora and fauna, its customs, and
its history. The book is
available in Dutch and English.
The authors consider to make
Greek and German translations.
